When the Nexus 5 launches later this year, its price may start at $299 off-contract, according to a new report. An article from PhoneArena citing an anonymous tipster claims the device will come in two different models, a cheaper 16GB version with a 2300mAh battery, and a more expensive model with 32GB of storage and a 3000mAh battery for $399.

A leaked service manual for the Nexus 5 that surfaced online over the weekend indicated Google would only offer one version of the handset, equipped with 32GB of memory and a 2300mAh battery. The news led many to complain that the highly-anticipated handset could be hampered by a weak power source, but now it looks like Google may offer not just more internal memory but also improved battery life for customers willing to pay an extra $100.

The Nexus 5 will allegedly come equipped with a 4.95-inch 1080p Display, 2GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, NFC, wireless charging capability, and run Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
